Helen Hartley is the founder of Astrology Matters and Synchronicity Matters Pty Ltd, and has been a practicing astrologer since 1980. She is currently Vice President of the SA Chapter of the Federation of Australian Astrologers and holds membership to the International Society of Business Astrologers and International Coaches Federation. She uses astrology to provide understanding about the importance and influence of timing with life decisions, developmental directions or successful business initiatives. This enables individuals to focus and maximise their energy and resources to excel personally and professionally.

Helen writes for Portmans one of Australia’s leading fashion retailers and the Mind Body Spirit websites. In addition, she has a strategic alliance with Cosmic Pages and collaborates with them to teach astrology, conduct in store mini horoscopes, presentations and chart services. She is heard on radio stations: 5AA (1395am), Nova (91.9FM) and the community youth radio station, freshfm(92.7) , and is able to translate complex astrological information into everyday language and present it in a pragmatic, humorous and caring manner.

Helen holds a Graduate Certificate in Managing Organisational Change, Bachelor of Business (HRD), Associate Diploma of Education, and is a Qualified Workplace Trainer and Assessor. She has accreditations in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator®: Step I & II and FIRO B.  She is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (AFAIM), and a Certified Practicing Manager (CPMgr), and holds membership to the International Coaches Federation.

In 2003 she was invited to join the Royal South Australian Deaf Society (Deaf SA) Board and was Vice President from 2004-2007.

She has spent many years as a Senior Human Resource Professional in global corporate life, developing corporate HR strategy, managing change, facilitating leadership and management development working with individuals on a one on one basis to provide coaching and mentoring at all levels within organisations.

Having dual professions enables her to connect in a most unique and effective way so clients become the ‘masters of their own destiny’.
