New Moon Phase: (0 degrees – 45 degrees)

This is the beginning of the a new cycle. You see things from your personal perspective and new focus and manifestation of energy surface. There is the potential to try a new way of doing things or to have a clear picture of what you would like to do. This is the time to begin new projects, set new direction and activate start-ups. Timing with business activities starts here. It is the time in a cycle that you are stimulated to take a new action. During this phase the new cycle is being seeded by your vision, inner and outer. Use visualisation to activate the mindset and law of attraction.

Crescent Phase: (45 degrees – 90 degrees)

This is a time when work presents itself and you become aware of what you have to do to overcome obstacles. You may feel overwhelmed from issues of the past. You may be handling a lot of red tape, bureaucratic details or juggling various tasks.

First Quarter Phase: (90 degrees – 135 degrees)

This is when you figure out a structure in which to operate, plan and execute your concepts. Managerial concerns occupy your time. It is the time in a cycle to take the initial action necessary to achieve your goal by expressing your needs and desires.

Gibbous Phase: (135 degrees – 180 degrees)

After seeing and executing a structure, you want everyone to know about it. Work towards clarification and ask, ‘why?’ There is a lot of energy directed at this point of the cycle to achieve your goals and be heard. There is often a high level of anticipation.

Full Moon: (180 degrees – 225 degrees)

You’ve been working very hard and things are coming to a head. However, there is too much to do. It feels as though you are stretched out as far as you can be. Standing back and looking at the activities of the last two weeks (when the New Moon began), you realise you have to let go of something.

It is the time in a cycle that you are given a clear view so that you can make adjustments to put you back on track to manifesting the goals you set at the new phase. Go to a public place. Do something with a friend. Listen to their feedback.

Disseminating Phase: (225 degrees – 270 degrees)

It does exactly what it sounds like. You are disseminating information that you have learned, gathered and tested. This is a great time to sell and train.

Third Quarter Phase: (270 degrees – 315 degrees)

This begins the quiet phase of the month. The energy turns inward as you withdraw from the activity of this last phase. There is a sense that something new is coming and intuitively, you begin to study or learn something new to prepare for it. This begins a phase when you clean things out.

Keywords for the Last Quarter phase is: realignment, revision, integration, cleansing. It is the time in the cycle to take closing action, to follow-up and complete the activities begun at the New phase. During this phase you become aware of what is and is not working with respect to the achievement of your goal for the cycle. The movement is toward integration.

Balsamic Phase: (315 degrees – 360 degrees)

This is a very still time. It seems as though nothing is happening; yet much is happening. A seed has been planted and is incubating for the new cycle. A lot of ideas and inspirations are conceived during this time as you allow time for them to germinate and gestate. There is an old saying “still waters run deep”. That is the experience of a Balsamic Moon Phase.
